1998, the FORA Reuse Plan planning team was presented
with the American Planning Association's Outstanding Planning
Award for Comprehensive Planning In A Small Jurisdiction
for their work on the Fort Ord Base Reuse Plan and Environmental
Impact Report. This award was the result of significant
contributions from FORA staff and a number of consultants,
co-led by EMC Planning Group Inc. and
EDAW, Inc.
